It has a complex aroma of allspice, nutmeg, clove, and ginger snap cookies, with underlying scents of mocha, butterscotch, and cardamom. The taste is smooth with flavors of root beer, vanilla, and peppermint, and finishes sweet with notes of caramel and banana bread. No artificial colors or flavors are added.
Roknar Minnesota Rye Whiskey:
Far North's Roknar whiskey is aged for 16 months in 15-gallon charred oak barrels, finished in Cognac casks, and has a mash bill of 80% rye, 10% corn, and 10% malt barley.
