Just in time for the Kentucky Derby!
2 ½ oz bourbon
½ oz simple syrup
4 to 5 fresh mint sprigs (or use mint-infused simple syrup)
Traditional mint julep glass
Place fresh mint and syrup into your glass. Muddle if using fresh mint. Add in the bourbon and fill the rest of the glass with crushed ice. Stir until the glass becomes frosty and enjoy!
